Idontknowhisname Henchwolf belongs to Ankama Therefore it is assumed that Joris was adopted by Kerubim shortly after his birth.Įxcuse me but I had to drool over this design from ’ Dofus: Welsh & Shedar‘ some more by quickly sketching it.
From what we know, Kerubim doesn’t have any offspring of his own so Joris could not be an actual grandchild of his. Joris called Kerubim ‘papycha’ which directly translated from French would be grandpa cat (grancat). They were not father and son at the time.

Seven years later we see him and Kerubim in the Dofus: Treasures of Kerubim series which may or may not indicate that Joris has been with Kerubim since or shortly after his birth. We know Joris was born in the year 390 on 32nd of Descendre.
I didn’t get fully into Wakfu until 2013 when Dofus: Treasures of Kerubim came out and I found out the world of Wakfu (and Dofus) is so much larger than we got to see in the show. It was the show I furiously watched while bound to the bed though season 2 was still being subbed by the fansubbers at the time so I had to wait patiently for them to upload a new episode. I found it by pure accident and recalled I had tried the MMO which had inspired the series. I remember I was recovering from surgery (second spontaneous collapsed lung) when I discovered the animated series of Wakfu. Tried playing it but it didn’t catch my fancy and I forgot about it.įast forward to 2012. Ello! I discovered Wakfu first as the MMO back when it was still new.
